I work at a ski resort in the winter as a ski instructor. I applied online at the mountain’s website and I got an email from the manager at the ski school. To be an children instructor (which is what I am) you need a pretty good background in skiing and patience with kids. To be an adult instructor you need additional training. Any other jobs at the mountain could include lift operator, ambassador, working in the kitchen/restaurants, in the ski shop, in the rental shop, etc.

P.S. I also only work during my winter break, so it’s do-able!

    Hi,

Best thing to do is go direct to the ski accommodation companies. Staffing for ski seasons is hotting up now, they’ll be making decisions in the next 4-6 weeks so get in there quick.

THere’s some information here about becoming a chalet host http://bit.ly/3Gmcr

    Good luck :)

applying for a job at a mountain is not that hard, its not a job you need tremendous qualifications for. All you need to do is find the place you want to work at and keep an eye on their website or just call them and ask them when they post their jobs for the winter and then you just put your application in. Most places will start hiring in the month or two before their season starts
